We help product brands and retailers create distinctive products, ranges and identities. From initial concepts to manufacturing and supply, we bring ideas to life.
Led by Tache founders Frank and Pennie, with more than a decade of experience designing, making and selling products.

Licensing
Bring licensed brands to life.
We turn distinctive brands and characters into products and collections, from creative direction to production.
Licensing experience developed at Tache. These are past Tache ranges; the brands and characters belong to their owners.
Frank and Pennie founded Tache and lead Tache Studio. They shape the ideas, guide the creative work and stay involved through delivery, bringing in trusted specialists where the project needs them.
Their experience spans developing ranges, collaborating with artists, presenting to retail buyers, managing production in the UK and overseas, and bringing products to market in shops and online.
Your project is led by people who have designed, made and sold products themselves.
How we work
Clear terms, from first brief to reorder.
Creative development is charged as an agreed fee. When we also manage manufacturing and supply, you buy the finished products directly from Tache at an agreed unit price, with production management included. Scope, fees, confidentiality, ownership and any permitted portfolio use are agreed in writing before work starts.
STEP 1
Understand
We agree the brief, your priorities, the scope and the fee, and unit prices if we’re supplying the products.
STEP 2
Develop
We shape the ideas and design, with clear points for you to review.
STEP 3
Deliver
We complete the agreed work, whether that’s a finished design, website, presentation or production-ready range, and manage manufacturing and delivery where they’re included.
STEP 4
Build on it
When it helps, we support launches, repeat production, extensions and retailer adaptations.
